Photoshop Practice

This is a photo I have used in order to practice and develop my photo shop skills. This allowed me to also experiment with colour schemes to use for my final magazine and fonts. By completing this exercise it has also allowed me to gain further experience as when I first used photo shop my skills were very limited and amateur, this was shown on a previous post on my blog which  I have linked, http://jenniferbaisterasmedia.blogspot.co.uk/2013/11/photoshop-skills.html

I was able to cut out around this photo using photo shop allowing me to hide the masthead behind the main image. Although I feel that I may have hidden the masthead slightly too much, this is something I will change on my final magazine front cover. I am also researching other fonts which I could use as I feel the one used in this photo shop skills development looks very amateur, but by completing this exercise it has allowed me to identify things which I will develop and change for my final magazine front cover.
